Dates for the diary

Tara summer camp will take place at Kingsbury Town Football Club on the Monday the 28th of July until Friday the 1st of August to finish up the camp with presentations. Camp is open to all clubs for boys and girls aged 4 to 12 years each day starting at 10am till 3pm. Tell your friends to come along and try out the Gaelic football with skills and demonstrations and games throughout the week all with qualified teachers and coaches. 


Well done to the Tara children who participated in the U6/8/10's football Blitz at North London Shamrock's on Sunday the 15th of June.

U12's Phase 2  Section Z where the  Tara team will play at Dulwich Harps on Sat the 28th of June with a 12 noon start

Tara GFC would like to send congratulations to Parnell's who were the winners of the London Shield

Thanks to Tir Chonaill Gaels 

A big thanks to Vincent McCarthy and all who helped out at Tir Chonaill Gaels who were the hosts to a sports and development evening at their own club in Greenford last Friday evening. Tara girls were invited along to play with other clubs  from St Clarets, Parnell's and Tir Chonaill. The girls all had a fantastic evening of Gaelic football and finished up with races with medals presented to all the winners.

Young Whistlers Course

There will be a Young Whistlers Refereeing Course on Sunday, June 29th in the Emerald Grounds, Ruislip. The Course will run from 11 am until 5pm with a half an hour Lunch Break at 1 pm - lunch is provided. There will theory based work and practical work involved on the Course so appropriate training gear/footwear needed. Places are limited, if you are interested in attending please contact Tracey Monagle on  07535 597 383  

All Britain Competitions (ABC)

2014 All Britain Competition will be held weekend Friday 11th to 13th of July at Tir Chonaill GAA Grounds, Greenford, London

Training Session at John Billam Grounds, Woodcock Hill

Tara Youths training will continue every Friday at John Billam sports ground, Woodcock Hill, Kenton, Harrow HA3 0PQ from 6.30pm till 7.30pm for the U6 till 8pm for all other age groups. Please can I ask all parents not to park on the grounds as this is private car parking .Please ensure that all your children are registered for insurance purposes with the club. Please make sure that all the children have their mouth guards at training/matches as they are now compulsory.

 

Tara Men’s

Training every Tuesday and Thursday 7.15pm sharp at Northolt Rugby Club, Cayton Road UB6 8BJ. New players welcome.

New Recruits

New players are always welcome – If you live in London or are planning to move to London and wish to join a friendly warm and dedicated GAA club.  The Tara’s club boast a full complement of teams Men’s, Ladies Senior/Junior and the Youth Section cover all age groups U6 up to u18’s with a Girls only section catering for U11’s to U18’s.
