Connacht GAA Football Senior Championship - Preliminary Round
LONDAIN V ROS COMAIN SUNDAY 30TH MAY 2010


London aim to bridge a 33-year gap with a long overdue win in the Connacht Championship on Sunday. Londons one and only victory came in 1977 when they beat Leitrim by 0-9 to 0-6. This will be their seventh Connacht championship clash with Roscommon who have won the previous six. London came very close on the last occasion Roscommon visited Ruislip in 2005 when the away team escaped by just a single point 0-12 to 1-8!


Throw in is 3pm with a £10 admission on the gate, all other big games on Sunday can be seen in the Ruislip Sports & Social Club, in particular the big Munster Hurling Clash between Tipperary and Cork can be viewed immediately following the eagerly awaited London v Roscommon encounter.
