The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 19th of October at 8 30pm at The Irish Tv GAA Grounds, West End Road, Ruislip, HA4 6QX and meetings will continue to be on the third Monday of every month. We would like to have representatives from all clubs around London at our Youths meetings to share views and ideas with all London clubs. We work together for the betterment of our future young Gaels.

North London Shamrocks Tournament

Last Saturday North London Shamrocks GFC  hosted a youth tournament with four clubs Parnell’s, St Kiernan’s, St Joseph’s and NLS taking part with over 150 children. The U13s Swanton memorial cup was also played NLS V St Josephs (Herts). 2 clubs NLS & St Josephs standing together with the Swanton family in memory of their son underlining the community this of the GAA in London. NLS Youth training continues all year round for under 6/8/10/12/14s. Saturday's 1-4pm going indoors from 7th Nov.

Tir Chonaill Gaels Tournament for U6’s to U13’s

Tir Chonaill Gaels will be hosting an underage tournament for U6's right up to U13's at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds in Greenford This Saturday the 10th of October. Best of luck to all club who will be participating.

 Hurling Super Games Centre

If your interested in hurling try out the Super Games Centre every Saturdays at 2pm for the next few weeks at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds, Berkeley Avenue, Greenford, London, UB6 0NZ. We provide every child in London and beyond, regardless of whether they are club affiliated or not, the opportunity to take up hurling and play it an enjoyable and safe environment. Boys and girls from U6 to 18 years can participate with equipment provided at the Super Games Centre and there will be NO CHARGE to participants so all the children have to do is show up and play the game. All welcome please pass on the information to anyone that you think may be interested. Our intention is for the Super Games Centre to drum up interest in the game and encourage a whole new generation to enjoy our native sport!

Games to Improve Decision Making

London GAA will be running a Coaching Workshop on 'Games to Improve Decision Making' in the coming weeks. The Course will be run by Ulster GAA Tutors and will be held on Saturday, October 31st in the Irish TV Grounds, Ruislip (HA4 6QX). The Workshop is limited to 25 people and in the interest of fairness, we will only accept 5 nominations from each Club. The Workshop will run from 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m., with a half an hour lunch break at 1 pm - lunch is provided. There will theory based work and practical work involved on the Course so coaches should bring appropriate training gear/footwear. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis  Contact London CDA Lloyd Colfer on 078 72600073 if you are interested in attending.

Dates for your diary

Provincial will run a schools tournament for Y6 in Tir Chonaill Gaels, Greenford on Thurday, 22nd of October starting at 10.30am

London Youths presentation night will be held in Ruislip on the Friday 20th of November with an 8.30pm start.
