London Youth Committee notes for week beginning 8th of September

The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 20th of October at 8 30pm at The Emerald GAA Grounds at Ruislip and meetings will continue to be on the third Monday of every month


Last weekend The London U-16 Development Squad travelled over to Ireland to take part in the Dermot Earley Development Squad Blitz in the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Co.Mayo.  A total of twenty players travelled over with Lloyd Colfer (CDA) and management. Well done to all those young men who represent the County over the weekend and thanks to all the others who trained and worked so hard, but were not in the chosen twenty squad. as follows.

Parnell’s: Alan Callahan, Conor Spinks, Ciaran O'Donoghue, Joshua Obahor, Kieran Rice

Dulwich Harps: Victor Ozobia, Benjamin Kudehinbu, Christopher Kudehinbu

J Ffrench Underage girls Tournament

Tara GFC will be the hosts to the first annual Girls U13/15/17's Football/Camogie 7's Tournament on Saturday the 13th of September at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds in Greenford. This tournament is kindly sponsored by Wexford man Justin Ffrench. Registrations will commence at 10.30am followed by games at 11.00am.Dan Mulhall, Ireland's Ambassador to Britain will be joining us on the day assisting with the presentations along with our sponsor and other guests. Ian McDonnell and Irish TV will be there to cover the event.

Coaching Seminar in Ruislip

There will be a coaching seminar in Emerald GAA Grounds with Eoin Morrissey over from Croke Park over weekend 12th & 13 of September to work with ALL our coaches (hurling/football). Friday night at 8.30pm any youngsters who are interested in Hurling regardless of their experience please come along. Saturday the 13th September there will be an Underage Hurling Day in Ruislip from 10.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Both events are free of charge, therefore you’re encouraged to get to Ruislip over the weekend and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

 

James O' Brien Tournament

St Kiernan's will host their annual James O' Brien tournament on the 20th of September at Mill Hill Rugby Club starting at 12 noon. This will be for the U8/10's.
