Launch of the 3rd All Britain Competitions

There was a warm welcoming reception with drinks and canapés to launch the 2014 third year of GAA All Britain Competitions at The Embassy of Ireland last Thursday evening 22nd of May. It was a great evening with Dan Mulhall Irish Ambassador to Britain opening up the evening with a speech where he spoke about the contributions made by the Irish in Britain and how proud they should be no matter how long or short  time spent here. He said that he was very pleased with the funding provincial have sustained for the development of the home of GAA grounds in Ruislip in spite of these hard times we are living in. Children are our future in Ruislip the Ambassador wished all the clubs the very best of enjoyment and luck in the competitions  Brendie Brien, President of the Provincial Council of Britain and Martin McAviney Ulster GAA President both followed on with  lovely speeches and they wished everyone the best of luck and hope that all clubs enjoy the experience.
