Training & Games

We played Moindearg last Wednesday in the second round of the league. To say we got off to a slow start would be an understatement. Moindearg started well and took their chances to build up a comprehensive 1-10 to 1-0 lead at half time. The only positive to take from the first half was Johnny Costello getting on the score sheet.

Some strong words were spoken at half time which the lads took on aboard. The second half got off underway with a slight breeze in our favour. Some good passing and movement seen us claw Moindearg's leads back to three points with five minutes to go we pushed forward in search of a goal. Moindearg hit us on the counter attack and picked up another two points.

Fulltime score 1-12 to 2-05. All the best to Moindearg for the rest of the season.

Training this week is on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm. We train in Downhill's Park, N17 6AP. We are a friendly, and social club and welcome players of all abilities who wish to play football. For more information please contact John Tierney on 07833 016014  or manager@eireoglondon.org
