Well done to Tara's youths who participated in Parnell's Youths GFC annual football and hurling Blitz at Parnell's club at Northwick Park on Saturday the 26th of April. Tara had two team for the U8's and one team for the U10''s. The U12 girls mixed up with Parnell's and Tir Chonaill Gaels played a match where they showed lots of skills in a mixed abilities team. Thanks to Parnell's for the invite and all their hard work on what was a successful blitz where the sun shone down.

Peter McGlynn Tournament

Well done to all the Tara Youths who participating in the Peter McGlynn tournament that was run for the Under U8/10/13's on Monday May 5th Bank Holiday  at Tir Chonaill Gaels GAA Grounds in Greenford. Well done to our PRO Lucia Butler and Co Presenter Peter Ryall from Irish Country Music Radio for the outside broadcast in helping to promote Gaelic games in London.

Girls Youths Gaelic Football Development day

Well done to all the U12/14 Tara girls who took part in Tir Chonaill Gaels Youth Girls Gaelic Football Development day at their home grounds last Saturday. The main aim is to give all of the girls an opportunity to play games and develop their skills. 

Dates for the diary

U14 Football League Tara will play St Brendan’s on Sat 10th May at St Brendan’s at 2pm

U14 Football Championship Tara v St Kiernan's on Sat 17th of May

 

Training Session at John Billam Grounds, Woodcock Hill

Tara Youths training will continue every Friday at John Billam sports ground, Woodcock Hill, Kenton, Harrow HA3 0PQ from 6.30pm till 7.30pm for the U6 till 8pm for all other age groups.  It is very important to have all your children registered for insurance purpose with the club. Please ensure that all the children have their mouth guards at training/matches as they are now compulsory.

All Britain Competitions (ABC)

2014 All Britain Competition will be held weekend Friday 11th to 13th of July at Tir Chonaill GAA Grounds, Greenford, London.

Tara Men’s

Training every Tuesday and Thursday 7.15pm sharp at Northolt Rugby Club, Cayton Road UB6 8BJ. New players welcome.

New Recruits

New players are always welcome – If you live in London or are planning to move to London and wish to join a friendly warm and dedicated GAA club.  The Tara’s club boast a full complement of teams Men’s, Ladies Senior/Junior and the Youth Section cover all age groups U6 up to u18’s with a Girls only section catering for U11’s to U18’s.
