The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 28th of April due to Easter at 8 30pm at The Emerald GAA Grounds at Ruislip and meetings will continue to be on the third Monday of every month

 


Coaching course

Good luck to all attending the Foundation Level Hurling Coaching Course which has been changed to Saturday the 12th of April from 9-5pm at Ruislip. Please remember to bring appropriate and practical training gear/footwear. This is a good opportunity to further your coaching education which can only benefit your Club and London GAA. Feile Hurling Training 

The next Feile hurling training will be on Wednesday 16th April at Hendon Ruby Club from 7.15pm at Hendon Rugby Club, Copthall’s Playing Fields, Greenlands Lane, Hendon, NW4 1RL​ Contact Noreen O'Neill on 079 60505792. 

 



Development Academy training will continue on Saturdays in Greenford from 2.00 p.m.
All players are asked to be in attendance 15 minutes before the session starts
​Strength and Conditioning 2-3pm and Gaelic Football 3.-4pm Â£6 per session  There will be indoor /outdoor component to the training session, all players are asked to bring runners and football boots to training. 
 The Squad is being finalised for the rest of the season in the next few weeks so it is imperative that all players who are interested in being part of the squad are in attendance for the sessions.
All layers with a good attendance record will be selected as COMMITMENT is the minimum requirement for our Development Academy.Can all Club Secretaries could contact the individuals in question from their own clubs.

 

Young Whistlers Course

Are there any young people that would like to get involved with the GAA and become a young whistler where you would be asked to go along to some games and referee some matches from time to time. If interested contact the secretary Lloyd Colfer 07872600073  

 

Peter McGlynn Tournament 

Peter McGlynn tournament will be run for the Under U8/10/13's on Bank Holiday Monday May 5th at Tir Chonaill Gaels GAA Grounds, Berkley Avenue, Greenford. Time to be confirmed.

Girls Youths Gaelic Football Development day on Sat, May 3, 2014.

Tir Chonaill Gaels will run a Youth Girls Gaelic Football Development day on Sat, May 3, 2014.Clubs either already running girls teams or trying to get teams going (with limited numbers). The format for the day will be to pool all players and pick teams from the pool. Depending on the age range on the day we will try to match girls with their own age group where possible eg U12/14 or U16. The main aim is to give all of the girls an opportunity to play games and meet and mix with the girls from other clubs.

Proposed details: Venue: Tir Chonaill Gaels, Berkeley Avenue, Greenford, London, UB6 0NZ

Time: Registration: 11am followed by games to be finished by 3.30pm.

Ages: Centred on Under 14 and will try to have Under 12 and Under 16 games if there are enough girls in each ages group. 3rd Annual All Britain Competitions (ABC)

2014 All Britain Competitions will be held the weekend of the 11th of July to the Sunday the 13th of July at Tir Chonaill Gaels GAA Grounds, Greenford, London, UB6 0NZ
