Training

Our pre-season core and circuit training has begun. For the next few weeks, we will be training on Wednesdays in the Alec Reed Academy Community Sports Centre, Northolt. We have a floodlit sand-based Astroturf pitch from 8pm, so please be there by 7.45pm for a prompt start. New players are more than welcome to join us.

How to get there:

Address: Bengarth Road, Northolt, UB5 5LQ

Public transport: Northolt (Central Line) is the nearest Tube station. It’s a 15-minute walk, or a short bus ride, from the Tube station to the Academy. Bus routes 90, 120, 140 and 282 all stop along Church Road. Pedestrian access is through the Bengarth Road gates. If you have any questions, or if you need a lift, please call John on 07956 666 979.

St. Joseph’s v West London Wildcats Challenge Match - 15th March

We will be playing the West London Wildcats https://www.facebook.com/westlondonwildcats in our annual challenge match on 15th March (St. Patrick’s weekend). The Wildcats were the 2013 AFL London Premier Champions and are the biggest and most successful Aussie Rules Football club outside Australia. Like previous matches, we will be playing the first half with a round ball and the second half with an oval ball! Both sides had great craic last year and gained a lot from the experience. Check out last year’s match report http://hoganstand.com/UK/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=186848.

New Players

New players are always very welcome to join our friendly club. We are based in West London; the club covers a wide area and current players live in many different areas, including, Acton, Brentford, Ealing, Fulham, Greenford, Northfields, Ruislip and Wimbledon. Transport to and from training and pick-up from stations can be arranged, if required. If you would like to join our club, please do not hesitate to contact us on the club mobile: 07597 168 298, or via any of our contact details below. We would be delighted to hear from you.
