Hopefully the pulse rates have returned to normal after yesterday's drama, all though I'm sure the heartache will continue for another while for the Mayo contingent among you.

In the meantime though, here are the club notes for the week ahead.

There is no senior match this week but remember we still have a vital relegation play-off in the pipe-line.

The St Clarets U10s team took part in the St Kiernans James O'Brien Day on Sat 21st Sept. They gave a great display of football and team spirit and were unfortunate to lose in the semi-final of the Shield by 1 point. The players that took part were: Aaron Myers, Liam Hession, Leah Higgins, Chloe Enright, Sabina Reddin, Joseph Hedger, Thomas Da Rosario and Tommy Naughton. We would like to thank all the parents and children who took part on Saturday, this was the last U10 game of the season and the players did themselves proud. A picture of the team is attached.

This Wednesday 25th September will be the last U10s and U12s training session for the season.

U12s team will be attending the St Kiernans tournament in Mill Hill this Saturday 28th September. This will their last tournament of the season.

Our Under 16s play Dulwich Harps in the League Final on Saturday 28th September at 2pm, venue tbc. This game will conclude the 2013 season. In the meantime, training continues on Tuesday evenings at 6.45pm in Hayes.

London County Board Draw:-
The County Board monthly draw will be starting again in October and the club has an obligation to sell at least 20 of these £120 annual tickets, which can be bought by individuals or as a syndicate. If we fail to sell fewer than the 20 required, the club must pay for the remainder out of our own funds. If we sell more, the club generates an income. It is vital that we meet and hopefully exceed our quota. The monthly prizes are as follows: £1000, £500, £250, £250, £100, £100.

From the 2012/13 draw we had the following wins:
July '13 Prize money £250 ticket no. 481
May '13 Prize money £1000 ticket no. 482
April '13 Prize money £100 ticket no. 496
Sept '12 Prize money £1000 ticket no. 483

If anyone is interested in purchasing a ticket please contact our Club Treasurer, Marie Hession at m_hession@hotmail.com

The youth presentation night has been arranged for Saturday 12th October from 8pm at Tir Chonaill Gaels, Greenford. All welcome. More details to follow.

For information on our club's under-10 and under-12 teams contact Denis McCarthy on 07973287256. For all matters relating to the club's other youth teams, please contact Colm Lynott on 07761 785260.

Further details about the club can also be obtained from John Kelly on 07884 473672 or via email at stclarets@hotmail.com
