London GAA - Media Evening / Supporters Open Evening

The London GAA County Board will be holding a Media Evening and Supporters Evening at the Emerald Ground, Ruislip, on Monday 10th June between 6:30pm and 9:30pm as part of the build-up to the Connacht Senior Football Championship Semi Final v Leitrim and All Ireland Hurling Qualifiers, with the London hurling team hoping to advance in the Liam McCarthy Cup qualifiers.

Filming opportunity - the London Senior Footballers and Hurlers will both be training on the night from 6:30pm.

Members of the media will then have the opportunity to speak with players and management between 6.30 & 7.45pm and 8.45pm onwards in anticipation of the forthcoming big Championship weekend on 22nd /23rd June when the London Senior Football Team play Leitrim in the Connacht Senior Football Championship Semi Final in Carrick on Shannon, and the London Hurlers set out on the journey to the Liam McCarthy Cup in the All Ireland Senior Hurling Qualifiers.

Please note that this will be the only opportunity to speak to the London footballers and hurlers in advance of their fixtures with Leitrim /qualifiers ( this draw will be made on 8/6/2013).

All interview requests must be made in writing to London PRO Declan Flanagan by 9.30am on Monday 10thJune. Pro.london@gaa.ie

London GAA - Media Evening / Supporters Open Evening
When: Monday 10th June, 6:30pm-9:30pm
Where: The Emerald Ground, West End Road, Ruislip, Middlesex HA4 6QX

The London Feile teams (Hurling & Football), the London U16 Football, U18 Football and Junior Football Teams will also be participating in this event and we must ensure London GAA instills in these teams their importance to the future of London GAA.

We especially welcome our youth clubs, including our younger members and families who are traditionally enthusiastic in availing of such opportunities when they arise.

Parents are encouraged to bring along their children between 6.30pm and 7.30pm to meet the our history making players from the London Senior Football team, as well our hugely successful Senior Hurling Team. It's an opportunity to meet players and management for photos and autographs.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ruislip on Monday 10th June.
