London Minors win All Britain Championship 2012


Congratulations to the London Minor Team who beat a strong Warwickshire Team in Pairc Na HEireann Birmingham after extra time to win the All Britain Championship by the score line 0-16 to 2-7 which proved to be a thrilling display of football by two equally matched teams. London's fitness was the difference between the two teams in extra time when London out scored Warwickshire by 5 points to 2. There were many outstanding players on both teams which is a credit to their Club and County Managers and Coaches. The London panel put alot of effort into training these past five weeks with up to 20 players attending training every week.


Well done to the Management Team of Noel Geraghty (Tir Chonaill Gaels) Paul Caulfield ( St. Kiernan's) Nigel McDermott (Eire Og) and to Mark Gottshe and David McGreavy for helping out with training, Thank you to all the supporters who travelled to Birmingham and to Tommy Harrell London Minor Board Chairman for all his help and support and to Christina Curran the Physio.
