THE NEXT LONDON MINOR BOARD MEETING WILL BE ON MONDAY THE 19TH OF JUNE AT 8.30 PM
AT RUISLIP.


The Provincial council of Britain have announced that the President of Ireland Mr Michael D Higgins will pay a visit tothe Emerald GAA Grounds in Ruislip on Saturday 23rd June 2012 at 9.30am . This is the first time a president of Ireland has visited a GAA grounds in Britain. He will be entertained by a selection of matches which will showcase what All Britian Competition ( ABC ) will entail. The council would like to offer an open invitation to all Gaels and sponsors to come along and welcome the president to Ruislip.

 

There are still a number of Clubs who have not registered their players with Croke park. Could you all please ensure all your players are registered, ASAP before the 14th June. If these Clubs have not done their registration then they will not be allowed to take part in any competition within the County until registration have been completed these clubs are playing players that are not insured and the London Minor Board will not accept the responsibility if there is a serious injury to one of your players in an underage competition.

 

Fixtures


The next U12 Tournament will take place at TCG, Greenford on Saturday, 23rd June and will be co-ordinated by Jim Rice & his colleagues. The event will be a 9-a-side competition and will be modelled on the format for the forthcoming ABC in July. Teams will be seeded and we very much hope the emerging teams will take part - there is a place for you! If you decide to enter a second team, the players must be born in either 2000 or 2001. There will be other opportunities for U10 & U8 players later in the season.

 

 

The U14 Championship semi-finals will be:

 

Thomas McCurtain's v Dulwich Harps on Saturday, 16th June at Goodmayes with a 1pm Throw In.

 

Tara v Parnells on Tuesday, 19th June (tbc)

 


Congratulations to the St Claret's U16 Team on winning the Football League Final against Tir Chonaill Gaels.This was a very competitive and sporting game played in difficult conditionsat the home of the of the GAA grounds in London, Ruislip.

All Clubs are asked to put in their diaries the dates for the All British Championships being held from Friday 20th to Sunday 22ndJuly at Greenford. Clubs from London and through out the UK are invited to enter teams for the following categories U8's through to Uu18's.
