London Youth Committee notes for week beginning 15th of October 2017

U-14 Conrad Ryan Cup WinnersCongratulations to St.Kiernan's U14 team who were victorious in winning The Conrad Ryan Cup Final. The Conrad Ryan Cup final was played in Greenford last Saturday 14th October in glorious sunshine. St Kiernan's started the game in determined fashion and were on top early but Parnell's played their way into game and at half time St Kiernans were narrowly leading by one point. In the second half St Kiernans got on top of their opponents and ran out comfortably winners in the end wining by 3 points. Final scoreline St Kiernans 2-08 Parnells  0-11. Bernie Ryan presented the cup to St Kiernans Captain Paddy Ryan.Thanks to the Referee Liam Barry, Linesmen and Umpires and to TCG for the use of their grounds. Well done to all managers involved in helping to support and development of these young lads from both clubs. As always thanks to the parents for their continued support.


Fr Murphys v Kilburn Gaels in a Hurling Exhibition Game

Well done to all the children from Fr Murphys and Kilburn Gaels Hurling Clubs who played an exhibition game at the half time interval of the City Jet Senior Hurling Championship Final in Ruislip last Sunday. It's great to see our future stars out displaying their skills in the home of the GAA Grounds here in London. The future is looking bright for our young Gaels. Congratulations to the Senior Hurling Champions for 2017 Kilburn Gaels on their defeat against Robert Emmetts.


Congratulations to our London Club Kingdom Kerry Gaels Ladies

Congratulations to our London Club Kingdom Kerry Gaels Ladies team and Management who were victorious against Belmun in Masstricht, Netherlands last Sunday the 14th of October 2017. They will now prepare to play the Ulster Champions in the All Ireland Junior Club Championship Quarter Final here in London on the weekend of the 4th/5th of November with venue and time to be confirmed. They will no doubt be great Ambassadors for the game here in Britain. Your continued support will be greatly appreciated as usual.


Tara Youths Presentation night

Congratulations to all the boys and girls from U6's to U16's who were presented with trophy's and medals at the Tara Youths presentation night held at Harrow Rugby Club last Saturday evening. It's great to see all the young boys and girls getting recognised for all their hard work and determination shown throughout the season. Thanks to all the work and effort put in by our Managers/Mentors who are volunteers and put in tireless hours of coaching and helping with the development of our future Gaels here in London. Thanks to all the sponsors and to all at  theTara Club who helped out in any way in making it such a successful evening.Thanks to Harrow Rugby Club for the kind use of their facilities and to the parents as always your support is always greatly appreciated.

Year 6 Schools tournament at TCG Grounds in Greenford on Thursday the 19th of October with a 10.30am start.U-18 Championship Final Parnells v St Kiernans in Greenford at 2pm on Saturday, November 4th


London Youths Presentation NightLondon Youths Committee will be holding their annual presentation night on Friday the 3rd of November at McGovern Park in Ruislip starting at 7.45pm followed by a buffet for all to enjoy. Presentations will be for the U12's up to the U18 boys and U14 Féile teams and U17 girls. We hope to see all clubs in attendance on the night to offer your support for our future Gaels. 
London Minor Board 50th Anniversary 1967-2017London Minor Board are celebrating their 50th Anniversary year 1967-2017. We are appealing for any team photographs or photos of memorabilia to help us mark this special occasion. Thanks to all who have sent photos already.
