Results U14 League Finals

Congratulations to the Taras who  had a victorious win over the Parnells in the U-14 Div 1 League Final at Northwick Park last Saturday. Thanks to the Referee Ger O' Shea.

Congratulations to Gael Londáin who won the U-14 Div 2 League after defeating St Clarets by three points in what was a cracking game. Thanks to Referee Lloyd Colfer.

Gael Londain Football Blitz

Gael Londain were hosts to a Football Blitz and a Hurling Super Cente last Saturday  where  500 visitors took to Hazelwood, home of Gael Londain GAA Grounds. Teams from all over London and beyond travelled to play games in what was a glorious sunny day. Under 6/8-and 10s played games before lots of boys and girls joined in the Hurling practice as part of promoting the Gaelic game. Well done to all the girls teams who participated in the U12 tournament with Tir Chonaill Gaels defeating Taras in the final. Parnells girls clinched the Shield after defeating St Kiernans in the final. The U12's were split into 2 pools, an "A" and "B" pool. In the "A" pool Parnells beat Warwickshire White Gaa by 2 goals and 4 points. The final score being 3-8 to 1-4 in favour of Parnells whilst the Pool "B" results were that North London Shamrock were victorious over St Kiernans in a tense game with NLS winning the game 3-4 to 2-1.U14's Div 2 next where Gael Londain played a semi final first against TCG where after an early score Gael Londain went on to be winning at half time by 6 goals and 1 point to one point. Final score was 9 goals 7 points to 1 goal and 3 points. This meant that Gael Londain would play St Clarets in the final to win the division 2 title. St Clarets had beaten Gael Londain on their two previous meetings. Gael Londain won by three points in a great game of football and it was won with a last gasp penalty save by Gael Londain to prevent extra time. A great day of Gaelic Football at our 2nd Blitz.. A big thanks to all at Gael Londain for running a very successful day. Thanks to all the referees on the day who worked tirelessly to ensure games were run on time. Once again the support of the parents is great appreciated.
