The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 19th of June at 8 30pm at McGovern Park GAA Grounds, West End Road, Ruislip, HA4 6QX 

Tara U 12 trip Breaffy in Co Mayo

Tara GFC travelled over to Breaffy in Co Mayo with their U12's consisting of both boys and girls. Three teams in total travelled along with their parents to what was such an enjoyable social weekend away. Twelve teams participated in the tournament from Mayo, Roscommon and London which was so well organised and successfully ran. Tara 1 won all their group games but unfortunately lost out to Moy Davitts from Mayo in the final which was a cracking game. Tara 2 consisted of a lot of young players where they done themselves and their parents very proud. The girls done done extremely well and enjoyed all their games. Tara would like to thank their hosts Breaffy for their kind hospitality who looked after them extremely well and the food was second to none. Thanks to all the sponsores for the golf day that was held back in March which helped raised funds for this trip. A special thanks to all who sponsored the kit and bags. Special thanks to all who helped and supported at the Tara club. This trip was very enjoyable and will certainly be a very memorable one for the children.

Gael Londain will be hosts to a Football Blitz and a Hurling Super Cente this Saturday 10th June.at  Hazelwood. The Blitz will consist of the following teams - U6/8/10 and U12 (playing for a cup) and U10 /12 Girls (playing for a Cup), U14 Girls (invitation friendly) Games at 11am - 2.30pm followed  3pm-5pm Hurling super centre for everyone. Live Music in the Bar 6pmThe Lions match will be televised in the clubhouse. Hot drinks and food are available all day.

The launch of the All Britain Competitions (ABC's)

This Wednesday evening will see the launch of the All Britain Competitions (ABC's) with a warm reception from Ambassadore Dan Mulhall with a reception at the Embassy of Ireland from 6pm-8pm. The ABC's will commence from Thursday the 6th of July-Sunday the 9th.
