Events held

The Last Man standing is well underway with the £200 Jackpot still up for grabs – from the initial 80 entrants we now have only 17 remaining, fingers crossed we get a winner in the next few weeks. Good luck to all still standing.

St.Joseph’s hosted Butlersbridge on the 25th of Feb as part of our annual Dinner Dance celebrations and as a tribute to Pa McAvinue our honorary president for his years of tremendous work which he has given to the club and indeed his home club in Cavan. A thoroughly enjoyable game between the two however very much a game of two halves and somehow the strong wind didn’t seem to be that much of an advantage as it worked out. It was played at a very competitive pace despite it only being a pre-season challenge game.

Later that evening we held their dinner dance in the West Middlesex Golf Club, a great night was had by all and one which is sure to be remembered (dependant on the alcohol levels).

Well done to Damien Hanahoe who picked up the Player of the year award –, a massive effort was put in last season – let’s hope you can repeat that this year.

Many thanks to all that made the night a success the Venue, Catering staff, the band, those who travelled from near & far, a special word of thanks to the Butlersbridge team for making a massive effort to come across – we hope you enjoyed your time in London.

We are due to play Cu Chullains this Sunday (26th of March) in the preliminary round of the Championship. The match is due to take place in the Scrubs with a throw in time of 12:30, can all players be at the venue no later than Midday.
