Congratulations to the Camogie Team who won the shield at the Erin Go Bragh women's festival in Birmingham. A special mention must go to Aimee Duncan who was awarded player of the tournament.

Commiserations to the Football team who were unlucky to lose to Eire Óg in the preliminary round of the Championship. Some fantastic play in the first half culminating in a Conor Murphy goal saw McCurtains lead 1-04 to 0-05 at half time. In the second half the East London lads couldn't find their range and found scores hard to come by while Eire Óg cut the deficit to draw level and with time running out sneak a lucky goal to hit the front. Even with sustained pressure in the closing stages McCurtains couldn't manage to break down the packed Eire Óg defence.

The Ladies Footballers are on the lookout for a manager for this year. If you know of anyone that would be interested please contact Deirdre McArdle on 07523 109 547 or drop us a message on social media.
