Thomas McCurtains GAA Club Notes:

Congratulations to the Ladies Footballers who won the Oxford University/Club Development 7's organised by the London and Hertfordshire Co. Boards on Saturday. It was a successful end to their first season in the senior grade.

The Mens Footballers were also in action on Saturday in a league play-off against Dulwich Harps. McCurtains were on top for long periods in the second half and a well taken goal by Mark McGirr looked to have sealed victory. That was until the last kick of the game, a Dulwich '45, fell into the McCurtains net and the game ended a draw.

Both teams also have to play Tara in this play off as all three teams ended on the same number of points in the league. McCurtains will play Tara in Goodmayes on Saturday. All support is welcome for this important fixture.

Mens Football:

Result: Div 3 League Play-Off â€“ Thomas McCurtains: 1-09, Dulwich Harps: 1-09.
