London GAA Youth 7's

l am delighted to announce that London GAA Youth Committee are hosting 7's Development Days for all age groups in Greenford every Saturday for the month of August with the different age groups getting one day each.

The schedule will be as follows:

August 20th - U-16

August 27th - U-18

We see this as a wonderful opportunity for our young players who aren't away on holidays to continue to play GAA throughout the Summer and enhance their development as a Gaelic Footballer, while also providing these kids the chance to play the game in a fun environment so we would encourage all Clubs to participate even if they don't have enough players. We will be able to provide teams for any player who turns up on the day.

The Tournaments will be 7-a-side and a panel consists of 10 players. Matches will be 10 minutes a side.

 

They will be held at Tir Chonaill Gaels grounds in Greenford (UB6 0NZ).

Could all teams please arrive at 10:30 a.m. and games will begin at 11:00 a.m.

We hope to have the Tournament completed by 1:00 pm.

Could you please let me know whether or not your Club will be participating before Thursday at 5.00 p.m. each week so we can draw up fixtures for each Tournament i.e. the closing date for this week (U-12) is Thursday, August 18th at 5.00 p.m.
