LONDON GAA GOLF DAY

LONDON GAA GOLF DAY – FRIDAY 30^th September 2016

On Friday 30^th September 2016 the London GAA will be holding its annual Golf Day at Crews Hill Golf Club, Cattlegate Road, Enfield, Middlesex, EN2 8AZ

The London GAA Golf Day is a key fundraising for the re-development of Ruislip. London GAA has committed to raising £500,000 towards to overall costs of the project.

Since the inaugural Golf Day, in 2012, in excess of £65,000 has been raised for the re-development of Ruislip. This contribution towards the overall sum London GAA has committed to raising has been vital to getting the project to its current position.

Following a lengthy tendering process the following contractors have been appointed – Fitzgearld & Burke (Principle Contractor) Foran Construction (Groundworks) Kiernan Structural Steel (Steel, Frame and Roof) and Prunty Pitches (Pitch).

Groundworks began on Wednesday 8^th June 2016 and completion of the project will be April 2017 in advance of the Connacht Championship game in May 2017.

Previous funds raised by the Golf Day have been used to engage a Project Manager (Tobin Consultants), London Borough of Hillingdon and the Greater London Authority (GLA) as well fund a variety of studies required as part of our Planning Application.
