Thomas McCurtains Hurling & Football Club Notes

Thomas McCurtains GAA Club Notes:

Our Footballers were the only team in action last weekend and they recorded a hard fought victory in the championship against a physical Shalloe Pearse team. Concession of an early goal put the Pearses in the driving seat but McCurtains fought back well and lead at the break by five points thanks to a well taken goal by Gavin O'Flatherty. The lads would not relinquish the lead in a low scoring second half to run out winners by four.

Good luck to the Camogs currently at the GAA World Games taking place in UCD and Croke Park. We wish them the best of luck.

Next weekend our Hurlers will be the only team in action as they play Kilburn Gaels B in Goodmayes on Saturday.

Hurling:

Camogie:

There will be no camogie training this week due to the World Games taking place in Ireland.

Ladies Football:

Training continues this week on Tuesday only at 7:30 pm in Goodmayes pitch (IG3 8XJ). All new players are welcome.

Underage:

Hurling: U8 to U14  training is on Mondays at 7.00pm in Goodmayes pitch.

Football: U8 to U14 training is on Wednesdays at 7.00pm in Goodmayes pitch.

New Players:

New players are always very welcome to join our friendly club. We have Gaelic Football & Hurling teams for both men and ladies from u-8s up to Adults. We are based in East London; the club covers a wide area and current players live in many different areas, including, Gants Hill, Woodford, Leyton, Leytonstone, Stratford, Romford, Dagenham, Brentwood & Chelmsford as well as many other areas. Transport to and from training and pick-up from stations can be arranged, if required.
