The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Tuesday the 6th of September 2016 at 8 30pm at Irish Tv GAA Grounds, West End Road, Ruislip, HA4 6QX 


U12's London Youths Exhibition Match in Croke Park
We would like to wish the very best of luck to the thirty U12's London Youths who will be playing an exhibition match in Croke Park at 6pm next Saturday the 6th of August. This match will be played for eleven minutes at the half time interval of the Dublin v Donegal All Ireland Senior Football Championship Quarter - Final. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to showcase their abilities and skills, while representing London GAA in our National Stadium. A very important day for the children playing in the footsteps of many legends before them to create an array of life time lasting memories for themselves.Children who will be playing are Jack Hanley, Anna O' Farrell, Harry Cunningham, Joseph Thornton, Thomas Murphy, Jemma McNulty, Kian O' Halloran, Liam Reese Fitzgerald, Dáire O' Dalaigh, Roisín Kelly, Finn Shortall, Tiernan Dunne, Joseph McCormack, Bobby Moore, Conor Cronin, Orla Hegarty, Tommy McDermott, Killian Giblin, Holly Lynott, Conor Sweeney, Adam McInern, Ryan Harvey, Niall O' Brien, Sean Howley, Beanon Corrigan, Brea Corrigan, Conor Griffin, Darragh Griffin, James Byrne, Ciarán Guthrie who are representatives from Parnell's, Tara's, Tir Chonaill Gaels, St Clarets, Thomas McCurtains, Granuaile, Dulwich Harps, Kilburn Gaels, St Kiernan's, North London Shamrock's and Round Towers clubs in London. 

Tara Youths Gaelic Summer Camp
Once again Tara GFC held a very successful annual Summer Camp with 130 children in attendance at Silve Jubliee Stadium, Hendon FC in Kingsbury. Camp was open to all clubs in London aged from 4 years up to Under 14's along with Tara’s was Granuaille, St Kiernans, Parnell's and Tir Chonaill Gaels, North London Shamrocks. The camp opened on Monday the 25th and finished up on Friday the 29th July with presentations for all the children. Tina Tracey Camp Coordinator thanked all the coaches/teachers who done a fantastic job at the camp and thanked the parents/carers and all who worked behind the scenes for their kind support. Granuaille assisted with the hurling and supplied the hurling equipment. A special thanks to Rob Morris and Tom Stockman who was on hand daily at Silve Jubliee Stadium for their generosity and community spirit, enabling the club to use the excellent facilities. A visit from the Leader of Brent Council Cllr Muhammed Butt and Cllr Mary Daly Councillor for Sudbury who is a very keen supporter of the GAA in London who kindly helped with presentations. Thanks to Bredie Brien Secretary of Provincial Council of Great Britain who presented the children with Cúl Camp bags on behalf of the London GAA. Thanks to the Tara Chairman Brendan Gallagher and all the committee for their kind support. Thanks to Sharon Kelly and Lilly Monagle for their lovely music on Friday. All 130 children seemed to have a wonderful time with a lot of passion and energy getting involved in hurling and lots of fun activities with Gaelic tournament running all week with Sligo, Wexford, Galway, Kildare, Mayo, London. The Cup was won by the Mayo team, The Shield was won by the Kildare team, The Plate won by the Sligo team. Yoga was experienced and enjoyed by the girls on one of the days along with arts and crafts for everyone to enjoy throughout the week. Thanks to all the parents/carers for their continued support. Hurling blitz for U8-U12 will be held at Greenford on Saturday the 24th of September from 12 noon.
Hurling blitz for U8-U14 will be held at Kilburn Gaels on Saturday the 15th of October from 12 noon.
