Thomas McCurtains GAA Club Notes.

Congratulatuons to the Camogs who have been crowned British Junior Champions after victory over Brothers Pearse in their first ever All Britain Junior Championship Final in Dulwich last Thursday evening. A very tense start to the match for the McCurtains ladies as Pearses got an early goal and point without reply. McCurtains got on the score board with a free from captain Michelle Dolan, quickly followed by points from Cara Cassidy and Maria McManus. It was difficult to see past McCurtains after that point as they cleared up everything Brothers Pearse had to offer and attacked every ball at pace. Aoife Fitzy and Michelle Dolan cleaned up in defense in the second half and kept Brothers Pearse to just 4 points in that half. Outstanding performances across the pitch and a great reward for all the hard work this season. Final score TMC 5-12 Brother Pearses 1-06
Thanks to the ref and Dulwich Sports Grounds and to all who turned out to support.

Congratulations to Catherine Barrett and Kellie Carr who were part of the London Ladies panel who won the British Provincial Final against Lancashire in Coventry on Saturday.
