The London GAA U16 & U18 Development Squad

The London GAA U-16 & U-18 Development Squad both played in the All-Britain Championship Finals against Warwickshire last Saturday at Pairc na hEireann in Birmingham. The U16's worked hard and won the final to become All Britain Champions, so a big congratulations boys. Unfortunately the U18’s lost out to Warwickshire as a lot of the U16’s had to play again so it was a tough call. Well done to all the boys and management who have trained and worked hard throughout the season.

Congratulations to Dulwich Harps U14 A Championship winners

Congratulations to Dulwich Harps who fought a hard battle to against Parnell’s to win the U14 A Championship. It was a fantastic game to watch where conditions were very hot at Greenford. Athalf time the score line was Parnell 3-02 to Dulwich Harps 5-06. Full time score Parnell 6-07 to Dulwich Harps 8-12. A great display of football by both clubs, but the stronger team won in the end. Well done boys and managers keep up the good work. A big thanks to London Youths Secretary Joel McInern who presented Dulwich Harps Captain Samuel Adenola with the cup.

Congratulations to Gael Londáin U14 C Championship winners

In very hot conditions at a busy TCG grounds in Greenford, Gael Londain GAA picked up the Under 14's C Final Cup beating Parnell’s in a final which was a tale of two halves and a great game to watch. Well done to both teams who fought a hard battle. Gael Londáin were up 4-09 to 0-04 at half time and were looking like they would run away with it. Halftime came and Parnell's had a second half which saw them score 5 goals and 3 points which took their tally for the game to 5 goals and 7 points. Gael Londáin scored two more goals and only 1 more point in the second half and this was enough to see them lift a Cup in their inaugural year, after only being together for 2 months. Stand out performances from Finnan Connolly, Gael Londáin Captain, Liker Songlicar and goalkeeper Thomas(Tig) Charles who shot stopped at least three goal scoring opportunities in the second half for Gael Londain. Final score line was Gael Londáin 6-18 to 5-07 Parnell’s. A big thanks to London Youths Secretary Joel McInern who presented the cup to Gael Londáin Captain Finnan Connolly
