Our first team lost to Tara last Thursday night in a competitive Mullarkey Cup game losing out 3-7 to 1-11.

The team was: Gerry Lynott, Luke Kelly, Paddy Donaghy, Lawrence Weir, Aidan Bradshaw, Padraig Donegan, Ronan Gaughan, Sean Killeen, Matt Killeen, Eamonn Colleran, John O'Connor, Paul Keenan, Ryan O'Connell, Shane Buckley, Alfie McNulty.

Subs Used: Kavan Fitzpatrick, Lyndon Bradley

There is no senior game this weekend. We face Fr Murphy's next Saturday 16th July in our first championship game of the season. Time and venue TBC

However, it will be a busy weekend for our youth teams as they take part in the ABC Tournament in Greenford.

Best of luck to our own Shane Buckley and Alfie McNulty and the rest of the London Juniors who face Lancashire in the All Britain Junior Championship Final in Birmingham on Sunday.

YOUTH

Unfortunately we were defeated by Thomas McCurtains on Sunday in the U14 Championship semi-final. The lads played a brilliant second half but left it a little bit too late to make the comeback. We'll look forward to the ABCs this weekend and hopefully we'll get some good results. Thank you to all the players and parents who made the effort to get to this match.

On Saturday our under 8's and under 10's teams took part in the Conrad Ryan blitz hosted by Parnells at Northwick Park. Both sides performed well in each of their 4 games earning some impressive victories and the blitz served as excellent preparation for next week's ABC competition.  Huge thanks to all parents for their support and assistance on the day.  A reminder that the under 8's and under 10's ABC competition takes place on Friday.  With games commencing at 3pm all players are requested to be at Greenford for, or as to, 2.30pm as possible.

Reminder:  ABC's this weekend

Friday 8th July - Morning - A number of our U14s will be taking part in the secondary school competition on Friday morning, playing for Douay Martyrs school and managed by Tadgh Lee, we wish them the best of luck, they are:  Aaron Myers, Joe Murphy, Patrick Woulfe, Finlay Richardson & Liam Hession.

Friday 8th July - Afternoon - Our U8s and U10s will be taking to the field on Friday afternoon.  It will be the first time that St Clarets have fielded at U8 age level so this is a great credit to Tadgh Lee and his assistants Liam Healy & Ryan O'Connell.  We wish all these young players the very best of luck.

Saturday 9th July - 10.30 start

Girls and U16s

Sunday 10th July - 10.30 start

U14s
