Ladies:
TCG vs Taras championship round 4 scheduled for 5/6/16 to be re - scheduled for later date.
We would like to wish new TCG footballer Niamh Higgins a speedy recovery after fracturing her clavicle during the TCG 7's last weekend. A well done to all involved in the ladies tournament, Parnell's were overall winners.
Ladies fundraiser will take place on the 25th of June in the clubhouse. Details will be announced later.

Seniors:

The seniors kicked off the league campaign with a 2.11 to 2.8 victory against the Kingdom Kerry Gaels in fine conditions on Saturday evening in Ruislip.

The Gaels raced out of the blocks into a commanding lead with Eoin Mageen, Liam Gavigan and Adrian Hanlon causing the KKG defence all sorts of problems with some penetrating runs and point taking. The Gaels should have put the game beyond the reach of their opponents only for the keeper to get down low to save Adrian Hanlons penalty.

The Gaels went in at half time with a commanding 9 point lead. After the break saw the Gaels take an 11 point lead with 1 great score from Keith Hill away out on the sideline before the KKG took control for the next 20 minutes. 2 goals and some close frees reduced the scoreboard to 3 points.

At this stage Maurice Carr went from having a box of 20 silk cut purple lites to 5 in the space of 15 minutes!! Liam Gavigan and Hanlon took control again up front and hit a couple of vital score to take the win out of the Kingdoms sails.

Next up for the seniors is The North London Shamrocks in Ruislip on Sunday evening with a 6pm throw in.
