CuChulainns had a good win against St Anthony's on Sunday last in Ruislip. CuChulainns got off to the better start leading by 3 points to nil all kicked by centre forward Ger Byrne. A strong attacking phase by St Anthony's lead to them leading by 1.5 to 0.5 by half time. 3 of the Anthony's scores in this period came directly from CuChulainns losing possession in defence. The 2nd half lead to a more even battle between the 2 teams with scores being traded on either side. CuChulainns began to rue some rushed shooting as the wide tally began to add up. With 2 minutes to go some great work lead to a 21 yard free being granted to CuChulainns. The score at the time was 1.10 to 1.08 in favour of St Anthony's. Damien Moloney struck the ball from the ground with force to the corner resulting in a goal to CuChulainns. One final frantic attack by St Anthony's lead to a clearance by CuChulainns and the final whistle by referee Declan Flanagan.
